1/20/2011 - A group from Life Options volunteered at WUNC radio, our local NPR station.  Their task was to assist 4 other volunteers in stuffing 9000 envelopes for a fundraiser.  The plan was for the volunteer group to work two days to accomplish this huge task.  However, the group did so well that all of the work was finished in one day.  Our liaison from WUNC was very impressed with our work and said he will be inviting us to come again for their next event, planned for mid-February.  The volunteers indicated that they had a good time and everyone seemed excited for their opportunity.
