6/15/2011 - The Life Options Artist Co-op has begun using clay to craft our own beads.  Over the last months we have experimented with different options for hand crafting our own beads including attempting to make beads from recycled newspaper.  While this was a learning experience, we determined that sanding the newspaper beads into a final marketable product was too challenging.  We did some brainstorming and additional experimentation and are now making all of our own beads out of clay.  The material is malleable and easy for individuals to handle making an excellent final product.
